It's MY TIME to quit!

Last night, I made a quick trip to the corner store to buy a pack of cigarettes... apparently the prices went up overnight from $4.75 to $6.25! What the....????? Seriously, when I started smoking in 1988, I swore I would quit if they ever got to $2 a pack. I am embarrassed and ashamed to admit it took me this long, but I have made the decision to quit. I promptly called Hannaford Pharmacy this morning to have them prepare my prescription for Chantix. Unfortunately my insurance company doesn't cover it, saying I should seek alternative methods to quit, but I decided to spend the $120 out-of-pocket. I think it will save me money in the long run, not to mention all the other benefits of quitting!
